Video from "This is Now" campaign

Ogilvy Advertising have released on youtube the shots from the Ford Fiesta "This is Now" campaign. So heres my favourite selections of my work. Nice to see them full scale instead of inside the little TVs. The campaign seems to be everywhere right now - nice to see billboards with my work on them. Enjoy.

Article in The Creative Review about Ford's This Is Now advert.

Yesterday magazine The Creative Review published an article on featuring the advert I worked on for Ford earlier in the year. The advert was directed by Noah Harris and features gorgeous art shorts which were created by young up coming artists to represent the zeitgeist, the now.... The short art films were played inside television screens which featured in the advert and which eventually turned into the motor car driving away. I love the concept and think the advert looks incredible.

Still from the advert which shows two of the films I worked on which were styled by Nicky Yates.

The article features videos of selections of the films which are featured in the advert as stand alone films, some of them are gorgeous. Really worth a peek!

Ford Fiesta "This Is Now" ad by Ogilvy Advertising London

This is the new Ford Fiesta commercial I did some bodypaiting for. I dare you to spot the body art - there are 4 different looks hiding in there!

Ford Fiesta Commercial I worked on is now released.

A month or two ago I worked on make-up and body art for a commercial for the new Ford Fiesta. Lots of fashion and design concepts to look cool and appeal to fashionista types from what I gather. The concept is "This is Now" - The zeitgeist... The different concepts were really eclectic and very interesting to watch being developed.

I've posted the commercial onto my blog - but its amazing all the very hard work we put in - and when I watched the commercial I didn't even realise it was the one I had worked on!! The concept stuff is shown inside animated television screens. Its very clever- but it took me about 3 views to spot my work as there are so mmany different films running inside the TV screens. Two of the films I worked on do feature strongly in the cut though which was great to see! It was an enjoyable job. And the commerical looks fab even if you can hardly spot what is what on a small screen- what I need to do now is see it on a cinema screen them I should be able to really spot the detail!

I have posted a pic from it here.

Bodypainting for Beckwith Birthday Party in Cannes

I just got back from Cannes. It was lovely to escape the rain and wet of England for the sunny warmth of the south of France, even if it was for just one day. I was bodypainting for a birthday party for the Beckwiths. The venue was the splendidly glamourous Palais Bulle, designed for Pierre Cardin, one of the most individual houses I have ever seen - google it and you'll see what I mean, its like something out of Barbarella! Great party with The Feeling, The cheeky Girls and Gena West playing. All in all an excellent way to spend an evening.

I painted two lovely ladies in cocktail cresses with the twin birthday boy's names on them. Two girls in just an hour - it was a good job I had the my lovely freind and assistant Audrey on hand to assist!

Hope you like the pics!

Welsh Bodypainting Festival

I recently got back from the welsh bodypainting festival. It was very wet and muddy - but enjoyed by all. I was only there for one day as I was busy on assignments - but i did get a tate of what was going on and hope that next year the weather is better and it promises to be a great event!

Here is a quick half body demo I did while I was there. Poor Tyler my model was frozen it was very cold wet Welsh weather!

GMTV Battle of the Brides.

A night with no sleep!! GMTV asked me and my team to bodypaint 3 brides and three Grooms for the "Battle of the Brides" competition. These guys had to stay up all night - with us painting them - then they had to take part in a Mr & Mrs style quiz live on air - in the freezing cold on laction in Covent garden!! Brave souls!

I'm still recovering now from the lost sleep!

Enjoy the pics!!
